Candle Safety Guidelines

At Framed Fractures, we take pride in crafting candles that are both beautiful and functional. To ensure your safety and the longevity of your candle, please follow these important guidelines:

  1. Never Leave a Candle Unattended
Always keep an eye on your lit candle. Extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep.

  2. Keep Away from Flammable Objects
Place your candle on a stable, surface and away from curtains, paper, or other flammable materials.

  3. Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This helps prevent excess soot and ensures an even burn.

  4. Mind the Surface
Containers may become hot; do not burn on surfaces that could melt or be damaged by heat.

  5. Allow Proper Ventilation
If your candle begins to smoke, extinguish it and trim the wick. Open a window to ventilate the space and relight the candle only after addressing the issue.

  6. Burn Responsibly
Burn your candle for no longer than 2 hours at a time to avoid overheating. Always let the wax cool and harden before relighting.

  7. Keep Candles Out of Reach
Protect children and pets by placing candles in areas they cannot access.

  8. Extinguish Safely
Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle. Avoid splashing the melted wax.

Following these simple steps will help you safely enjoy the warmth and beauty of our candles. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us.
